Here are the easy steps for anyone to buy a car from Infiniti of Kirkland
and bring it across the border into Canada.

1. Get the price all set - you will find that we are VERY easy to work with
2. There is a $30 3-day permit and $150 doc fee added to the price. The 3-day trip permit goes in your rear view window and acts as a temporary license to get you through the states.
3. You do not pay Washington State sales tax if you provide the right documentation - we'll make sure you have all the right details, since you still pay your local taxes. Below is a few examples of what we need ( keep in mind you need 2 forms of id):
   1. Passport, Driver's License or any official picture ID counts as one
   2. The second piece of ID must be one of the following showing the out-of-state address:
      • current residential rental agreement
      • property tax statement from the current or previous year
      • utility bill, dated within the two previous months
      • state income tax return from the previous year
      • voter's registration card
      • current credit report
4. We need to get some personal information, like name, address, just the essentials so that I can send the proper documenation to the border.
5. I send the title to the border crossing and get the confirmation date handled for you to legally cross. This takes 72 hours for customs to make sure the vehicle is not stolen and the title is legit and there is no lien on the vehicle. We keep our titles here, so this process is really easy. There is also a recall letter that I will have ready for you when you pick up the vehicle. The border will not allow a vehicle to cross if there is an open recall on the vehicle you are purchasing. 6. I will take a $5,000 deposit on the vehicle ( you can use a credit card if you would like flyer miles) and I will fax you a purchase order to sign so that the vehicle is yours and nobody can buy it out from underneath you.

7. Once I recieve this I will also fax you money wiring instructions so you can take it to your bank to wire us the remaining US funds.

8. We pick you up at the airport, train station, bus station, whether it's in Seatac or Edmonds or Seattle.

9. Stop by the store to sign a few pieces of paperwork.

10. Leave the store with the title, odometer statement, purchase order and recall letter.
